Who can join ROKING?

ROKING welcomes members who share our values and meet the following criteria. Please review carefully before applying.

You identify with the ROKING community through shared ethnic and cultural ties

You are willing to commit to regular monthly contributions

You agree to abide by the ROKING constitution and welfare rules

You are sponsored or introduced by an existing ROKING member

You attend an introductory meeting with the executive committee

Your application is approved by majority vote of current members

ROKING Welfare Rules

Rules that protect every member equally.

Our welfare rules are the backbone of ROKING. They ensure that contributions are handled fairly, that every member receives the support they are entitled to, and that the association operates with integrity at all times.

1 All members must pay their monthly contribution by the agreed deadline each month.

2 Welfare support is activated only after a member has completed the qualifying contribution period.

3 All welfare requests must be communicated to the Secretary within 48 hours of the event.

4 Members who default on contributions for two or more months lose welfare eligibility until arrears are cleared.

5 All financial records and welfare payments are shared transparently with all members at each meeting.

6 Disputes between members must be brought to the executive committee for resolution before any external action.
